New frame: Does this feel like a way of loving myself?

Is it a loving of myself? A loving of Goddess, of G-d? DOES IT BRING ME CLOSER TO TRUTH, OR FURTHER FROM IT?

Does this feel like a way of loving myself? And is it?

And what about it holds the nourishment that I seek? What about it mirrors and validates the nourishment that I already contain inside of me?

THERE IS LIGHT WITHIN ME: A GLOWING LIGHT AT THE CORE OF MY BEING’S RADIANCE. Certain treasures of this material plane highlight and reflect that light, nurture and expand it.

One of my jobs is to figure out which people, activities, experiences, books, friendships, bubble baths, relationships, laundry detergents, sex toys, Buddhist prayers, classical literature novels, mala practices, typewriters, songs, flavors of tea, fabrics, lingerie, ETC feel good, feel like relief, feel like they’re bringing me closer to my divine, indestructible nature.

Yes. WE ALL HAVE A DIVINE, INDESTRUCTIBLE NATURE. I believe this. YES; THIS, I BELIEVE.

I really like what Abraham says about MOMENTARY DISSONANCE, about those times that we feel blechy, and are not ourselves. These are the times that we are caught-in, exuding, surrounded by, and breathing any feeling other than that of relief. They say it’s just an indication that we have deviated from our own opinion of Source. (Our own opinion of Self, truly.) At that instant, they say, we are at conflict, for Source always adores us; and, Source’s opinion of us never changes!

(I would like to write more about that “never changes” bit and how that fits into a fluid, dynamic view of the Kosmos, where everything is continuously morphing, transforming, transitory.) (I will. Soon.)

If we can lovingly guide ourselves back to a feeling of relief, if we can reach for a happy thought or a happy thing or an action that is a loving of ourselves, we affirm ourselves and our nature. We become instantaneously stronger and more vulnerable; we open wider to the world around us and our heart’s capacity multiplies. It just takes a second, you have nothing to lose, tons to gain, and it could even be fun; so next time you find yourself with a case of the winter blues, try to reach toward relief. Try to give your heart an excuse, any excuse, to sing. See what you can come up with, and post your experiences / results / reactions / feelings in the comments.

LET’S AMP UP OUR HAPPINESS.

After all, lovely, lovely people, EVERYTHING IS FLEETING.
(Even this suffering.) (Especially this suffering.)
